While ultimately our clients decided not to target certification, they will still benefit from a design informed by performance, a modern and functional layout, and beautiful,uplifting interiors.

A house with spectacular harbour views has received a complete make over. The owners now enjoy a more open and light filled plan that invites in the beautiful, fresh sea breeze during the summer days. Light exterior colours help the property stay cool in summer and an appropriate level of insulation ensures it is warm and cozy in winter.

The project for this terrace house in Sydney’s Inner-West was an exploration on what’s possible to achieve on a tight building site. We helped our client to obtain DA approval for an impressive functional plan including: new Kitchen & Dining space, two additional Bedrooms and associated Ensuites, a Reading Room and a Guest Suite over the rear Garage.

With Council for approval at the moment, this renovation to an inner-city terrace house comprised a modern, solid rear addition featuring roof gardens that will maximise the property’s green outlook and will be planted to attract pollinators and biodiversity. The house will be upgraded to maximise comfort and efficiency to meet our clients’ ambitious agenda.

A fun project where our clients asked – on top of an interior make over – to explore a few sculptural options for their balconies with the goal of maximising sea views and giving a more modern and attractive look to the rear of the property. This was a clever way to make the property look and feel new while retaining the majority of its existing structures.
